Louisiana – The Museum of Modern Art
Louisiana has a truly fantastic location in a scenic park facing the Sound – a mere 30 minute train ride from Copenhagen. The museum was built in 1958 with a unique interaction between the location, the changing exhibitions and the architecture.
Louisiana boasts one of the largest collections of contemporay art in Northern Europe in addition to its exhibitions of changing themes and artists. Recently, Louisiana has had exhibitions with major artists such as Cezanne, Picasso, Lichtenstein and Max Ernst.
