Copenhagen Pride (August 2011)

Ever since July 1st 1969, when Denmark was the first country in the world to abolish every legal sanction against pornography for adults, Copenhagen has been renowned for its liberal tone towards sexuality. A popular recurring event in Copenhagen, is the Copenhagen Pride for gays, lesbians, bi- and transsexuals. This colourful event ends with a Pride parade which moves through the city centre. This year the event will take place from the 17th to the 21st of August
