Road World Championship

The Road World Championship is one of the world's biggest sporting events. They will be held from the 19th to the 25th of September 2011 here in Wonderful Copenhagen.
The route for the Time Trial has the start and finish line at the City Hall in the heart of the city. The actual route for the Road World Championship will take place in the municipality of Rudersdal just north of Copenhagen.
The International Cycling Union has appointed Copenhagen the world's first Bike City, partly because a third of all inhabitants in Copenhagen take their bike to and from work, school, etc. And partly because the city has more than 300 kilometers of cycle paths, and also has developed the concept of free city bikes.
