Norrebro

Norrebro is Copenhagen’s multicultural and young neighbourhood. It is located in-between the city centre, Frederiksberg and Osterbro. Norrebro is build up around the central street Norrebrogade, which is a semi car-free zone with plenty of cafés, exotic restaurants, supermarkets and Shawarma shops. Norrebro has a lot of alternative shopping. You can visit the street Ravnsborggade, ideal for antique and second hand shopping or browse the area around St. Hans Torv, with plenty of small fashion shops, second hand bookstores and cafes. For alternative designs, jewelleries and handcraft visit the street Jaegersborggade, which also has many cosy cafes and restaurants. During spring and summer the heart of Norrebro is bustling with life. Young people hang out in the squares or line up in front of the famous Ice cream shop Paradis Is. The area is well connected by public busses along Norrebrogade.
