Sustainability in practice

A small carbon footprint – a big impact

For us, sustainability is not just a label – it’s an integral part of how we run our business every day. We use eco-friendly and gentle cleaning products in all homes, benefiting indoor air quality, our cleaning staff, and the guests who stay there.

We don’t own cars; instead, we rely on cargo bikes and other sustainable transport options that suit the city and reduce our carbon footprint. At the same time, we set clear expectations for our suppliers and partners, requiring responsibility, quality, and environmental care in both products and processes.

We know we can’t save the world alone. But we believe that consistent, thoughtful choices in everyday operations can make a real difference.

Small steps, big results

55.000 km.

Our team cycles a total of around 55,000 km each year. That is almost one and a half times around the world. We may not discover new continents, but we do achieve a significantly lower carbon footprint. For us, this is not a stunt, just a normal part of everyday life.

100 tons of bed linen

Over the course of a year, we handle around 100 tons of bed linen and towels, first the clean and then the used. This requires careful handling. That is why we work with a professional, certified laundry partner, where textiles are washed, reused, and maintained according to documented environmental standards. The result is less waste, lower resource consumption, and a solution that works both practically and environmentally.

19.000 guests

In 2025 ApartmentinCopenhagen has welcomed over 19,000 guests. Each stay is carefully managed to ensure comfort, trust, and a personal experience. From check-in to check-out, we take care of every detail, creating memorable experiences for both our guests and the homeowners who open their doors. This approach has allowed us to grow steadily while maintaining high standards and heartfelt service.
